Today I wanted to write about songs we like. So I decided to write about 10 songs we like.


  1. I want to run. I like how it says: Create with me a work of art. I think that is so cool. I also like this line Sittin here stuck in my head while the sun is just rising 
  2. High Hopes. I like the first part :Had to have high, high hopes for a living Shooting for the stars when I couldn't make a killing “ I think is so cool. It is talking about how he had high hopes, or” High High hopes for a living” 
  3. On Top of The World. It says “I’m on top of the world eh I’m on top world.” Also “If you love somebodyBetter tell them why they're here “ It is a great song. 
  4. 9 to 5. 9 to 5 by Dolly Parton is such a good song.Tumble outta bed and I stumble to the kitchen Pour myself a cup of ambition. I like how it say Pour myself a cup of ambition. I think that is so funny. 
  5. Wake me up before you go go . It is saying wake me up before you go. I think this song is very funny. Jitterbug into my brain (yeah, yeah)Goes a bang-bang-bang 'til my feet do the same. 
  6. Fight Song. Fight song is really a cool song. I like how it says, I might only have one match but I can make an explosion. We used to do hand signals. It was so fun. 
  7. Happier. I like the song happier. At one point it says, Now if we jump together at least we can swimFar away from the wreck we made. It is a great song 
  8. One, two, three, four. 1234 is a funny song. At one point it says 1 2 3 4 5 6 9 &10. I really like that part. My little sister used to say that is not how you count. 
  9. Ain’t no man. I this song so much. The Avett Brothers are so talented. I like there song so much. Ain’t no man can save me. 
  10. Love like the movies. This song is also by The Avett brothers. This song is so funny. It is talking about being in love like the movies. So you want to be in love like the movies. But in the movies they're not in love at all Thanks for reading my song review.

Lets Shake Things Up   by Jack Kartchner            Recently there was an earthquake in Salt Lake City. It was a 5.7 magnitude earthquake with aftershocks continuing for a long time. Maybe you felt it at your house. Maybe you have been wondering, how do earthquakes happen? I can tell you.           So how does an earthquake start? The first thing to know is that the Earth’s crust is made of lots of pieces. Think of it like this, the earth is like a puzzle it has many different pieces that connect together. These pieces are called plates. An earthquake starts when two of the earth's plates contact, slide, or bump into each other. The parts of the earth where the plates touch is called a fault line. On a fault line is where earthquakes happen.
