History Books for some Summer Reading By Jack Kartchner If you are bored and are looking for something to read this summer you might want to consider some historical fiction books. Historical Fiction books are interesting because they tell you about things that happened in history but create a fun story with the characters they create. They are exciting because they help you imagine what it would be like to live at that time in history. Here are a few books I would recommend to get you started.   Johnny Tremain by Esther Forbes: Johnny Tremain is about a boy who is a silversmith apprentice at the beginning of the revolutionary war. Q: Where were you when you first heard about the coronavirus? A: We were celebrating Chinese new year when I heard that we couldn’t go back to school. We would have to be doing quarantine and homeschool. We were going to go on some trips but we couldn’t go anymore because we didn’t want to risk getting stuck there. Q: How did you feel about the coronavirus when you first heard about it? Were you scared? A: I was a bit worried that we might get it but now that I’ve learnt more about it and am taking more safety precautions I feel more safe. Q: How did your friends and family feel about it? A: Our housekeeper was on a t...
