History Books for some Summer Reading By Jack Kartchner If you are bored and are looking for something to read this summer you might want to consider some historical fiction books. Historical Fiction books are interesting because they tell you about things that happened in history but create a fun story with the characters they create. They are exciting because they help you imagine what it would be like to live at that time in history. Here are a few books I would recommend to get you started. Johnny Tremain by Esther Forbes: Johnny Tremain is about a boy who is a silversmith apprentice at the beginning of the revolutionary war. My family loves ice cream, maybe a little too much. I asked all of my siblings what their favorite flavors were, and I put in some of mine too. By Scout Soelberg One day When I woke up I did not feel too good. I asked My mom to come and take my temperature. She took my temperature and said”103.3! You need to go to the Hospital.”My Mom carried me to the car. When we got there They took my temperature. It was 104.3! That is crazy! They put a cold Ice Pack on my forehead. It Felt so good. In a little bit it was not cold. They kept on bringing in ice packs. The next day my Temperature was normal which is 98.6. The end.
